A Bit about Ryan

Ryan Walsh was born in 1978 and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. He's the oldest of three sons and a daughter. Click on the thumbnails below for some shots of him at Tintagel:

He attended Butler University with a major in Pharmaceutical Studies, but changed majors in his second year. He graduated with honors in 2000 with a BA in English: Creative Writing. From 2003-2006, he worked in Butler's Registration & Records department as the Coordinator of Publications and Scheduling, and with all due respect to his wonderful co-workers, he's glad he's not there anymore.

Ryan writes whatever he can, whenever he can, wherever he can. But if he had to pick a favorite, he'd tell you he enjoys writing for comics the most - it's visual without dragging on, compelling, dynamic, a young medium with loads of potential. It's his favorite blend of challenging and satisfying. Also, when you consider his father is a Shakespeare professor and his mother a former illustrator, Ryan never really stood a chance against it.

Ryan is currently living in Falmouth, England with fellow students at University College Falmouth. He's attending classes towards earning his Masters in Professional Writing.
